About the Property
Detached three-bedroom villa with an inside area of about 150m2 and all rooms are air-conditioned. The lounge, dining room and large kitchen are separate but open-plan, being connected by archways.
There are two bathrooms (one en-suite to the main bedroom) and a downstairs toilet. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have terraces. There is also a terraced area which can be accessed from the dining room.
The private swimming pool is 40m2 and has a large sun terrace. The whole pool area is surrounded by balustrades which make the area very private (there is a 2m drop from the sun terrace to the garden).
The plot size is approximately 1000 sqm. The garden is landscaped with walls, terraces and numerous trees, plants and shrubs. We have the lawns re-turfed with loose stone borders and ground cover. There is spring water connected to the villa for garden watering with a programmable automatic sprinkler system installed. This will soon be extended to include a drip-feed system for watering of plants not reached by the sprinklers. There is a car standing with a car port accessed through the iron gates.
This price is inclusive of all furniture, white goods, fixtures and fittings.
The area
Akkaya is a year-round holiday community in the most beautiful surroundings, with villas and apartments scattered widely across a mountainside, amongst pine trees, olive groves and meadows, overlooking an emerald green lake.
Akkaya is Mediterranean Turkey at its most secluded and unspoilt, yet it is just 20 minutes from Dalaman international airport, which is now served by Easy Jet and year-round charter flights from the UK. It is also close to the new golf course at Sarigerme and excellent beaches, including the turtle beach at Iztuzu, while the marinas of Gocek are only 15 minutes away. The surrounding mountains are perfect for exploring on foot; and the area’s trails are ideal from mountain biking. There is fishing on the Akkaya lake or white water rafting further upstream on the Dalaman river.
Dalaman is a district, as well as the central town of that district, situated on the southwestern coast of Turkey, in the Mugla Province. Dalaman is known for its international airport (Dalaman Airport) which serves as a gateway to the tourists who visit this part of Turkey every year, heading especially to seaside resorts to the west and east of Dalaman such as Marmaris, Fethiye, Köyceðiz, Dalyan, Ölüdeniz and Hisarönü.
Dalaman is an area of natural beauty, located between the sea and the mountains and benefiting from its proximity to many areas of interest both historical and geographic. The town is ideally situated close to many resort areas such as Dalyan, Gocek, Sarigerme. Unlike Fethiye and other vibrant holiday resorts Dalaman is still very much a quiet region with unspoilt beaches, ancient ruins and parks.
Dalaman is now rapidly becoming an investment area for many Europeans purchasing properties for investment in Turkey. This is due to many recent investments such as the airport enlargement, plans for a new marina and a golf course in Dalaman and near Dalaman there is a very popular Marina Resort, Gocek and in Sarigerme there is an 18 hole golf course on construction due to be completed in 2009.
